Accessing Le Montagnard restaurant on skis from Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
The restaurant is ideally located for a stop-off from the 3 Vallées ski runs.
From Méribel (Roc de Fer summit), take the Verdet blue run.
Via the Chérferie summit, take the Jérusalem blue run, famous for its wide curves and superb scenery.
From the Tougnète summit, two options are available: the Pramint red run for the more experienced, or the Gros Tougne then Pelozet blue runs for a gentler descent.
Continue past the Saint Martin 1 gondola on the Biolley blue run.
After the tunnel, turn right onto the drag lift run: it will lead you directly to the heart of the village.
Stop on the right, about fifty metres before the end of the run: a “Le Montagnard” banner will show you the way.
You then only need to walk about fifty metres to reach the restaurant. The terrace, clearly visible from the drag lift run, will serve as your landmark.
The return to Les Menuires or Méribel is just as simple: a short walk takes you back to the drag lift, which then allows you to reach the Saint Martin 1 gondola and subsequently the Saint Martin Express chairlift.
Accessing Le Montagnard restaurant on foot
For non-skiing visitors, access is easy through the village centre.
The restaurant is located behind the Saint-Martin-de-Belleville town hall, in the immediate vicinity of various car parks situated only fifty metres away. This position overlooking the village offers an exceptional panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
Families also appreciate the proximity to the children’s play area, perfect for extending the moment after lunch.
