Le Montagnard
A Committed Restaurant

Authentic Cuisine, Inspired by Our Region

For several generations, Le Montagnard has upheld strong values: respect for our region, a passion for quality produce, and a desire to offer a genuine experience to each of our visitors.

Through our cuisine, our partnerships with local producers, and the way we welcome our teams and customers, we contribute to fostering sustainable mountain tourism.

Promoting Our Region's Produce

Local and Seasonal Produce

We carefully select the produce for our menu, prioritising local producers and short supply chains. Some of our ingredients also come from the high-altitude permaculture garden at Chez Pépé Nicolas, where edible flowers, aromatic herbs, fruits, and vegetables are grown in rhythm with the seasons.

This approach allows us to offer authentic cuisine, support the expertise of our region, limit intermediaries, and highlight the richness of our local area.

Homemade Cuisine

Every day during the summer and winter seasons, our teams work with these quality ingredients to create generous cuisine, faithful to mountain recipes while allowing room for creativity. Each dish reflects our desire to showcase the best of Savoie, through carefully selected and passionately cooked produce.

Preserving Mountain Expertise

The recipes we offer are inspired by the culinary heritage of Savoie.

Through our cuisine, we aim to introduce local specialities and contribute to the transmission of a gastronomic heritage that enriches our region.

Caring for Our Teams

We place great importance on the integration and training of our employees.

From their arrival, they discover our working methods and quality standards. Throughout the season, they receive regular support to develop their skills and progress from one season to the next.

Sustaining the Belleville Valley Year-Round

By opening both summer and winter, we contribute to the dynamism of the Belleville Valley and help sustain four-season tourism.

Our objective is simple: to offer quality cuisine in a welcoming setting, while contributing to the economic vitality of our region.

Our Daily Commitments

Beyond the kitchen, our commitments are reflected daily in our way of working: prioritising local produce, limiting our impact whenever possible, warmly welcoming our visitors, and preserving the culinary traditions of our mountains.
